Battle Royale.

This is a MUST see for anyone who enjoyed the blood spurting Sweeney Todd.

It's a Japanese movie based on a Japanese novel.

Basically, it's about a class of Year 9 students who were drugged on a school trip, and were brought to a deserted island.

And this is the best part...

Only ONE person can leave the island alive.

You guessed it!

They have to kill each other off.

They are given weapons (depends on how lucky you get. Some get machine guns, axes, sickles, pistols, shotguns... others get binoculars, paper fans, pot lids...).

Oh, and they have been fitted with these necklaces which explode.

And the time limit is crucial. Three days.

So, if there is no sole survivor by the end of the third day...

BOOM.

You die anyway.
